Before applying to university I completed the Proficiency Certificate from Cambridge University. I studied Applied Microbiology at the University of South Wales, and followed to research and complete my PhD at the University of Wales on Medical Microbiology. Since finishing my PhD I have worked as a researcher in academia in Portugal University of Porto and of Minho) where I was able to mentor and supervise several students during their MSc thesis. I have most recently worked in a Biotech company specialising in antibody discovery and engineering.

Hello, I have been an informal tutor to several MSc students for both their writting skills and the scientific content of their thesis.
